The warm weather is here and there are so many cute Summer patterns being released that I had to share some of my faves! Crocheted items are not just for winter. There are so many options for Summer! Hats, beach coverups, bags, home decor and more. I have included a few free patterns as well as some paid patterns. If you haven’t discovered these talented makers yet, I have links to the patterns and their social media. Go follow all of them!

Currituck Coverup

This sexy, sassy cover up is a must have for Summer! It was designed by Kathryn of The Stitch and Hook. She was inspired to make a piece that was adjustable and for every body type. The name comes from the Outer Banks area of North Carolina, where she and her family have vacationed every summer for the past 25 years. The pattern comes in sizes XXS to 4X. It works up pretty quickly and I love the texture created by the stitches.  You can purchase this pattern in Kathryn’s Etsy shop or on Ravelry (see links below).

The Deco Tote

This cute tote was designed by Caitlin of Wildwood Designs ME. She was inspired by crochet lace design. Once she had the vision for this bag it came together quickly. It’s a great 1 skein project. It’s perfect for the beach, market, yarn, etc.

You can find the Deco Tote pattern in Caitlin’s Etsy shop or Ravelry. (See links below.) There is a bonus pattern included: a mini version of the Deco Tote!

Pineapple Basket

This adorable Pineapple Basket was designed by Tamara of Moogly. It’s perfect for Summer decor and entertaining. Tamara writes: “Pineapples have been a home decor staple for generations, and they are having yet another moment in the sun. To celebrate this lucky fruit – and the return of summer – I’ve designed the Pineapple Basket.”

June Sun Hat

The Crochet June Sun Hat was designed by Ashleigh of Sewrella.  Ashleigh writes: “Sunny summer afternoons need a lightweight topper to filter that harsh glow – enter, June. She’s simply chic and ready for anything. June’s versatility takes her from a day sunbathing at the beach to margaritas at la cantina in the evening. She works up fast and is beginner friendly – holding the perfect shape without the help of wires, starch, or glue. Everybody needs June.”

The June Sun Hat is FREE pattern on Ashleigh’s website! You can also buy the kit from Lion Brand:  June Crochet Sun Hat Kit

Boardwalk Clutch

This cute little striped clutch was designed by Emily of Hooked Hazel. She was inspired by another clutch she saw at Banana Republic and wanted to mimic the lines. Emily writes: “This bag makes me think beach party, girl’s night, and cocktails by the pool. It’s fun, flirty, and a little bit sassy.”

Watermelon Mesh Beach Bag

This adorable bag is designed by Little Fox Nerdy Knits. I just love the watermelon colors and pop this bag has.  The designer writes: “Why not be environmentally friendly and have something adorable to hold all of your stuff? Plus this pattern is super satisfying to complete! You can even zone out and watch an episode of your favorite show!”
