This blanket design is in memory of my grandmother, Ida Mathis Fisher. She taught me to crochet as a child. She loved making blankets and gave them to her many family members. I created this design by taking some of her favorite stitches and putting them together as a sampler. Each section represents an afghan/blanket that she made.
It comes in 2 sizes: baby blanket (36″x36″) and throw (60″x60″). There will be 2 files to download, one for each size.
This is an advanced beginner/intermediate level pattern.
